If you are new to the area you might not know about these fabulous secret spots for an off-leash walk. Remember: If there's no sign your dog must be on the lead at all times to avoid hefty fines.

 

BEERWAH PARK 

Mill Park, Simpson Street (fenced area). Off-leash at all times.

 

BLI BLI PARK 

Muller Park (Reserve 375) as designated on signage provided in the park. Off-leash at all times.

 

BUDDINA PARK                 Ultimate Pet Care Favourite

Point Cartwright Reserve, off-leash and on-leash areas. At times and locations indicated on signs. Timed areas 4pm to 8am.

 

BUDDINA FORESHORE RESERVE

Eastern side of Point Cartwright headland, south to Gulai Street. Beach access 198 to 201. Off-leash at all times.

 

BUDDINA BEACH 

Mawarra Avenue to Talinga Street Beach access 210 to 217, Off-leash at all times. 

 

BUDERIM PARK 

Elizabeth Daniels Park, Syd Lingard Drive (fenced area) Off-leash at all times.

 

COOLUM BEACH 

Northern end of Coolum Beach Caravan Park extending 1km north of Stumers Creek. Beach access 67 to 72. Off-leash at all times

Poatina St, Wurtulla to Currimundi Creek, Currimundi (beach access 249 to 253): Off-leash at all times. (Can be quite busy at the Weekends).

Ridgehaven Park, Kalana Road (fenced area): Off-leash at all times.

DICKY BEACH PARK

Woorim Park, Esplanade: Off-leash at all times.  - Opposite the Power Boat Club. Open area dog park. Gorgeous location and the regulars are very welcoming to you and your dogs. On the riverside of Bradman Avenue, commencing at the traffic lights at the intersection of Fishermans Road and Bradman Avenue and extending 500 metres towards the Maroochy River mouth: Off-leash at all times.

 

MOFFAT BEACH 

Coorara St, Dicky Beach to Russell St, Shelley Beach. Beach access 270 to 276: At times indicated on signs. 4pm to 8am.

 

MINYAMA PARK

Jessica Park - Western end, Nicklin Way: Off leash at all times .

 

MOUNTAIN CREEK PARK 

Quota Hideaway Park, Cootamundra Drive: Off-leash at all times.

 

NAMBOUR PARK 

Petrie Park, as designated on signage provided in the park: Times as indicated on signs 4pm to 8am.

 

NORTH SHORE BEACH, TWIN WATERS 

North Shore Beach, Twin Waters between the low water mark and the base of the dunal area, extending from the Maroochy River to a point 500 metres south of the safety flagged bathing area, Twin Waters Surf Club beach access 132: Off-leash at all times.

Russel Street to Victoria Terrace. Beach access 276 to 281: At times indicated on signs 4pm to 8am May to October.
